Mrs. Languageperson (apologies to Dave Barry) is annoyed.

Just what the hell is a 'babydaddy'? What ever happened to 'father'? Maybe it's because the mother doesn't expect that the male parental unit will actually be in the child's life unless he's forced to pay child support? Or maybe it just sounds nicer than 'sperm donor'...?
